Vow Renewal Packages
All of us at Angels' Watch Inn would be most honored to help you create a wedding day or vow renewal that will be a special, happy and cherished memory for the both of you as your journey through life together married begins or continues.
We have created three wedding/vow renewal packages for those of you who do not want to deal with the extreme stress and expense of a large wedding or vow renewal, but still want the magic, memories, tradition and blessings of your own small, intimate, private and special day.
The wedding/vow renewal packages are for all couples wishing to marry or renew their vows.
The wedding ceremony can be performed in our beautiful park like yard under our arbor, on the beach with spectacular views of Long Island Sound or in our quaint and pretty living room in front of our beautiful fireplace. Anywhere that you would like.
Deluxe and Simple Wedding Cermonies are held everyday all year long as long as you have obtained your marriage license. In state residents can obtain their marriage license from their town of residency. Out of state residents must obtain their marriage license from the Town Clerk in Westbrook CT. Westbrook Town Clerk's offices are closed on Friday at 12 noon and are not open on Saturday, Sunday or holidays.
Holidays and special events excluded.
Basic Wedding Ceremonies are held Sunday through Thursday only and are not performed on Friday, Saturday, all year long, holidays or special events.
Outdoor wedding ceremonies and events are held from May 1 through October 1, weather permitting. If it rains, events are held indoors.
In keeping with tradition and not letting the wedding couple see each other. We will now be offering The Bridal Boudoir/Grooms Room - a special room for our couples to dress in so they will not see each other in their wedding attire until their wedding ceremony begins.
The Bridal Boudoir/Grooms Room can also be used for our couples that have chosen our Simple Wedding Package to dress in before their ceremony.

Now for an additional fee of $60 we can broadcast your wedding ceremony live via the internet for friends and family who cannot be here to share your wedding ceremony with you.
The DELUXE WEDDING PACKAGE
A wedding ceremony and mini honeymoon.
The Deluxe Wedding Package is for just the two of you. If you would like to have guests present you can have up to 20 guests with the Deluxe Wedding Package only.
Wedding toast, favors and wedding cake are provided for six guests and under for no additional charge.
If your party is larger than six people, there is a $20 fee for each additional person attending the ceremony with The Deluxe Wedding Package.
Wedding toast, bottled water, wedding favors, wedding cake and cheeseboard are provided.
The Deluxe Wedding Package includes the following:
- Our Justice of the Peace. The ceremony is warm, personal and very special. You can also recite your own vows.
- Seasonal bouquets and boutonnieres. If you request any flowers for your bouquet other then the seasonal ones offered in our package, you are responsible for the additional cost.
- A live video of the wedding ceremony and various poses at the Inn put onto a DVD
- Approximately 50 -150 digital photos of yourwedding ceremony and reception at the Inn put on a CD we provide you with three copies
- Champagne or non alcoholic sparkling juice with keepsake flutes
- A wedding cake for two
- A just married flag for your vehicle
- Wedding bubble and wedding bliss favors
- Three evenings stay in one of our beautiful rooms featuring a two person pedestal soaking tub.
Plus, fireplace and all of our usual amenities and a choice of beer, white wine or sparkling non-alcoholic juice
Soda and bottled water are always stocked in the mini-refrigerator in your room.
Deluxe Wedding Ceremonies are done everyday - Holidays excluded.
$895 entire package - room use tax included
$1,045 if ceremonies are performed on Fridays and Saturdays

The BASIC WEDDING PACKAGE
This package is just for the two of you and up to six guests only.
A $20 fee per guest is required for each guests .
Wedding toast, strawberries, bottled water, wedding favors and cheeseboard are provided.
The Basic Wedding Package includes the following:
- The Justice of the Peace
- Champagne or sparkling cider toast with keepsake flutes.
- “Just Married” flag for your vehicle
- Wedding favors
Plus, a one evenings stay in one of our beautiful rooms featuring a two person pedestal soaking tub, fireplace and all of our usual amenities and a choice of beer, white wine or sparkling juice.
Soda and bottled water are always stocked in the mini-refrigeratorin your room.
$375 for a one evening stay Sunday through Thursday all year
$500 With a DVD of ceremony and digital photos put on a CD
$600 With a DVD of ceremony and digital photos put on a CD, wedding bouquet, and grooms boutonniere.
$20 fee for each additional guest-up to 6 guests allowed.
For an additional evening stay Sunday through Thursday add $125 plus 12% room use tax.
Basic Packages are performed Sunday through Thursdayand are not performed on Friday, Saturdays or holidays.

The SIMPLE WEDDING PACKAGE
The Wedding Ceremony Only; Lodging is not provided.
This package is just for the two of you and up to six guests.
$20 fee per guest is required.
Sparkling juice, non-alcoholic wedding toast, strawberries, bottled water, wedding favors and cheeseboard are provided.
The Simple Wedding Package includes the following:
- The Justice of the Peace
- Sparkling non alcoholic juice toast with keepsakeflutes.
- “Just Married” flag for your vehicle
$250 for The Simple Wedding Package

$475 with digital photos put on a CD, video put on a DVD, bridal bouquet and groom's boutonniere.

About two hours after your ceremony, you would go to the restaurant of your choice for a wonderful wedding dinner.
Dinner is a separate charge you would pay the dining establishment directly.

If you prefer to stay at Angels’ Watch Inn we now offer The Cherub for 16 – 22 people.
If you have The Cherub Reception at our Inn for 16 - 22 people, the cost is $50 per person.
Children ages 6-10 are $20. Children 5 and under are free.
The $20 fee per guest for attending the wedding ceremony is waived.
THE CHERUB
For 16-22 people
It can be set up under our canopy tents in our park like yard, or inside in our living room.
During this time, you can relax with your guests; we will take numerous photos and a 30 minute video of the two of you and your guests.
There will also be a champagne and sparkling juice (non-alcoholic) toast to the newly married couple.
You and your guests will be served Swedish Meatballs in a mushroom gravy sauce, fruit platter, warmed cheese/artichoke/spinach dip with crackers, vegetable or sausage ratatouille, shrimp platter, club sandwich platter, warmed bow tie pasta with chicken spinach Parmesan sauce and your wedding cake.
Also included are coffee, tea, bottled water and soda.
The champagne toast is the only alcoholic beverage served and allowed with The Cherub.
The informal gathering is for two hours. The Cherub is not a sit down dinner.
The staff at Angel's Watch Inn works extremely hard to make sure that your wedding is perfect.
For ceremonies and wedding receptions held at Angels Watch with over six people, there will be an additional 18% gratuity added to the cost, for a much appreciated thank you.
We do have professionals specializing in hair styling, makeup, manicure/pedicure (no acrylics), facials, massage therapy for couples who will come to the Inn for an additional fee, to assist you with your special day.
We have a clothes steamer, iron and ironing board for your convenience.
You will be responsible for the cost of the rental fee for any additional chairs or supplies that they request in addition to what we already offer.
The Seasonal Bridal bouquets and the Grooms boutonnieres are included in the package.
You will be responsible for the cost of additional flowers requested. If you request special flowers or colors it is considered a special order. You will be responsible for the additional cost. Special orders start at $150.00.

Ceremonies performed must start between 3:30 and 5:00pm.
Cherub Receptions must be over by 7:30pm.
Notes for Bride and Groom:
The State of Connecticut does not require witnesses to be present for your ceremony
Obtaining Your Marriage License:
To obtain your license you will need a picture identification.
Either a license or passport anda $35 fee in cash or check that you pay directly to the Town Clerk.
They ask you some simple questions like you andyour parents name and place of birth.
Your birth date, your level of education, the number of times you have been married.
Both of you have to be present. You do not need any other documentation. It is very simple.
Residents of Connecticut:
If either one of you is a resident of Connecticut, you may obtain your marriage license at the place of your residence as long as you stipulate that you are getting married in
Westbrook, Connecticut Middlesex County. If you do not stipulate this we cannot marry you.
Or, you can obtain your license at the Westbrook Town Clerks Office.
You have 65 days to use your marriage license.
Non-Residents of Connecticut:
If you are not a resident of Connecticut you have to obtain your license at the Westbrook Town Clerks Office.
You can obtain your license on the same day of your ceremony, or the next day after check in.
After breakfast the next morning you can walk next door to our Town Hall and obtain your marriage license.
Please be advised that the Town Hall closes at 12 noon on Fridays and is not open on holidays.
Town Clerks office is located very close to the Inn.
Town Clerk’s office hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9:00am – 4:00pm
Thursday 9:00am – 7:00pm
Friday 9:00am – 12:00pm
The Town Hall is closed on all State and Federal Holidays
We do require a non refundable deposit of half of the wedding package at the time of reserving your wedding.
The remaining balance for the wedding package and reception is due 30 days before your wedding date.

ALTHOUGH WE ALWAYS TRY TO ACCOMMODATE YOUR REQUESTED ROOM, DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCEBEYOND OUR CONTROL, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE A SPECIFIC ROOM. SHOULD AN EVENT OCCUR AND YOUR REQUESTED ROOM BECOMES UNOCCUPIABLE WE WILL PLACE YOU IN A ROOM OF COMPARABLE QUALITY.
Depending on when your wedding is, the cost of accommodations for your guests may vary.
We do require a two evening minimum stay on weekends, Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday.
A three evening stay is required on holiday weekends.
We also run specials throughout the year.
If a special is running we would honor the discounted rate for your guests.
There is also a 12% room use tax.
